Move Slowly · A Pilates & Slow Life Retreat
Six nights in Tamraght, Morocco — daily Pilates on the rooftop, an ocean out front, mountains behind. The world does not slow down; we find you a place where it never speeds up.
Slow & Strong is a retreat for people who love movement, curiosity, and new experiences — but who also understand the value of having nothing to do. We bring together Pilates, Moroccan culture, nature, connection, and real unstructured time.
Rather than filling every hour, we create space and offer possibilities. Practice Pilates as the sun rises over the Atlantic. Walk a river gorge through palm groves. Share a meal cooked by local hands. Sit with tea. Watch the light change. Be still. Wander. Rest.
We hold the frame. You decide what goes inside it.
Tamraght sits at a crossroads of cultures — Amazigh, African, Arab, and European. Traditional ways of life alongside a young international creative community. We're not here to show you Morocco from the outside. We want you to feel it from within.
Curious, active people who enjoy moving their bodies, discovering new places, and connecting with others — while appreciating silence and slow moments. No Pilates experience required.
After years of optimising everything, something shifts when you move slowly and intentionally. This retreat is the practice of that — structured enough to feel held, open enough to feel free.
Pilates is not a quick fix. It is a slow conversation between you and your body. Come to Morocco and finally hear what yours has been trying to say.Ewa — Lead Instructor · Aura Berlin Studio
Each morning's session is chosen for what the day holds — alignment before a hike, breath work before the water, slow non-verbal flow before a meal shared without translation. The practice is preparation, not decoration.
The second session closes the day rather than opening it — restorative, unhurried, a place to land after the hike, the dunes, or the free afternoon. The body processes what the mind hasn't finished yet.
A maximum of 12 guests — enough to feel like a real community, small enough that Ewa can see every body and give every person genuine attention. No one gets lost in the back row.

Ewa is a Pilates teacher and health coach who loves creating experiences that bring people together in a meaningful way. For her, Pilates is more than physical strength — working with the core becomes a way to feel grounded, capable, and connected to yourself. She believes that when we create enough space to simply be, we reconnect with what truly matters.

A boutique residency perched between the Atlantic and the Argan valley. The Lodge is the kind of place that slows time — terrace breakfasts overlooking the surf point, architecture that speaks the local vernacular, hosts who treat every guest as a personal responsibility.
Common spaces invite lingering. Rooms invite genuine rest. This is not a hotel. It is a home with exceptional bones.
Every day has its own rhythm — movement in the morning, exploration in the afternoon, connection in the evening.
The retreat begins the moment you stop moving.
Check-in at The Lodge Residency. Settle in, breathe, meet the group over a welcome dinner. No agenda. Just arrival.
Before the group finds its centre, it finds its laughter.

Breakfast and departure. Airport transfers arranged for all guests — 45 minutes to Agadir Al Massira Airport.
A guided half-day trek through one of Morocco's most breathtaking natural gorges — emerald pools, palm groves, and silence. A reset for the entire system.
A hands-on masterclass in the Moroccan kitchen: harira, couscous, preserved lemons, the slow-cooked tagine. You will eat what you make.
An afternoon at the Timlaline sand dunes — golden light, open desert, and sandboarding at sunset. Effortless joy in its purest form.
Unstructured play on the Atlantic shore. Connection happens fastest when no one is trying.
A circle where each guest offers something they know — a skill, a story, a practice. Often the most meaningful hour of the week.
Professional surf coaching on one of Morocco's most consistent beginner breaks. No experience required — just a willingness to fall and try again.
A half-day quad ride into the Argan hills above Tamraght — dust, panoramic views, and the kind of freedom you can't find on a mat.
A group trip to Agadir's vibrant souk — spices, textiles, leather goods, and the rhythm of a Moroccan market in full swing.
A full hammam ritual at a local bathhouse: black soap, kessa scrub, argan oil, and an optional massage. The most thorough rest your body has ever had.
Visit the rebuilt Agadir Medina and climb to the ancient Oufella ruins for sweeping views over the bay and a quiet moment with history.
